Important Financial Aid
News for 2008-2009
BOG Fee Waiver and Enrollment Fees and Health Fees
The Enrollment fee is
still $20 per unit. The BOF Fee Waiver will cover all of the
enrollment fees.
All students will have to pay the Health fee each semester. The
Health fee is $16
per semester for Fall and Spring and $12 for Summer.
If
students
do not pay the Health fee by the
payment deadline
they will be dropped from all of their classes.
Exception: Students who qualify for a BOG A Fee Waiver due to receiving
TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), SSI/SSP (Supplemental
Security Income/State Supplemental Program) or General Assistance (Food
Stamp assistance alone is not sufficient and does not
qualify) are exempt from paying the Health fee. Students applying for a
BOG A Fee Waiver under one of the above methods must provide proof of
receiving these benefits for either the current month or prior month at
the time of BOG A application.
Pell Grant Awards
The maximum Pell Grant for eligible students is $4,731 for the 2008-2009
school year.
