WOMEN'S SOCCER
Head Coach - Andi Milburn
The fall 2008
season will mark Coach Milburn’s fifth year as Head
Women's Soccer Coach at San Diego City College. Milburn is a
native of San Diego, graduating from Valhalla High School where
she played soccer for the Norsemen in addition to running Cross
Country and Track & Field. As a youth, Milburn played “Club”
soccer for various teams throughout San Diego County, spending her
High School years with the FC Bratz “Dream Team”.
After High
School, Milburn attended Regis University in Denver Colorado on an
athletics scholarship. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree
in Psychology from Regis while playing both intercollegiate Soccer
and Lacrosse. Milburn made a trip to the NCAA Division II Final
Four in Soccer and served as the Lacrosse Team Captain for two years.
Milburn went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Physical
Education from Azusa Pacific University in San Diego, Calif.
Coach Milburn has been an adjunct professor of Health and
Exercise Science in the San Diego Community College District for
the past three years, teaching a range of both lecture and activities
classes. Milburn brings much experience to SDCC, having played
soccer since the age of four and coached at various recreational
and competitive levels. In addition to her current teaching and
coaching duties at San Diego City College, Milburn is the
Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at Steele Canyon High School as
well as the Head Coach of the Girls U12 and Girls U13 Albion club
teams.

Assistant Coach - Anya Bohun-Chudyniv
Anya,
in her third season at SDCC, is relatively new to San Diego
after spending most of her life on the east coast. She
started playing soccer at a very young age in Silver Spring,
Maryland. Anya played for the Bethesda Soccer Club and was
a member of the girls team that won six straight State
Championships. She started out her soccer career at the
University of Pittsburgh and played there from 1998-99. Anya
then moved on to the University of Vermont where she played
in from 2001-02 while earning her B.A. in Spanish.
Anya
began coaching at the age of 16 and has coached every year
since. She moved to San Diego in 2004 and immediately began
coaching youth soccer in the area. She has coached children
as young as 18 months old and currently coaches sports
classes all over the county for Master Sports. She is also
a competitive coach for the San Diego Soccer Club Pegasus
GU11.
