Timeline

Spring 2008:

§  Recruit members for standard committees

§  Discuss standards, and how to structure the self-study (standard committees)

§  Train standard co-chairs by the Accreditation Commission

§  Draft descriptive summaries for each standard

§  Begin listing data and survey needs and compare with existing data sources

Fall 2008:

§  Define ways that Student Learning Outcomes will be measured, qualitatively and quantitatively for each standard

§  Draft descriptive summaries

§  Identify concerns that can be addressed

Spring 2009:

§  Follow-up as needed to gather and update information to include in revised draft

§  Develop Planning Agenda items

§  Write up complete draft (descriptive summaries, self-evaluations, planning agendas, and documentation)

Fall 2009:

§  Submit revised drafts of  Self-Study

§  Spring 2010

§  Send Self-Study document for review to Academic Senate, President’s Council, District Research and Planning Office, the Academic Affairs Council and the Chairs’ Council

§  Present Self-Study to the Chancellor and the members of the Board of Trustees

Fall 2010:

§  Accreditation team site visit
